The apocalypse continues …

with teaching a toddler skills, keeping the garden growing, and birthing another baby boy – Matthew.

Brook takes a well-deserved break at the park, and then… middle child Lucas leaves toddlerhood behind.

Leo works on painting while Lucas focuses on writing and Brook aims to max her athletics. Eventually baby Matthew turns to a toddler, much to Lawrence’s angst.

However, he’s happy to turn into a full-fledged adult.

Brook does most of the toddler training…

because, if Lawrence interacts with the children in the morning before work, it really tanks his mood.

Back at home, waiting for Matthew to grow up, Leo has progressed to be able to create a still life. (I just might get lucky and get a masterpiece of Brook.)

Then, Matthew celebrates a transition into boyhood.

I put the garbage can too close to the wall and mail box (and the edge of the lot), so little Miko can’t tip it over.

Everyone’s busy skilling. Brook has maxed athletics. And, Leo turns into a teen.

He insanely changes into flippers. Ugh!

Brook stays busy making unbreakable things breakable while Leo frantically tries to get a masterpiece portrait of her. She, however, turns to an elder before he captures her in her prime.

Lucas too has a birthday.

As an uncontrollable elder, Brook enjoys sketching in the garden while Lawrence now has to prepare the meals, tend the garden, and fix the plumbing she breaks.

A typical day sees Lucas writing a novel, in case Leo’s attempt at a masterpiece of Brook fails, while everyone else skills in other ways. Lawrence is concentrating on maxing his athletic skill, when he isn’t busy doing something else that must be done.

Fortunately, as a green thumb, Brook will always want to water the garden. While that does mean that Lawrence’s gardening skill doesn’t progress as quickly as it could, it does give him enough time to actually do other needed things.

Leo, too needs a break from constant masterpiece seeking, so he gets to gain a charisma skill and an athletic skill so that conversations will increase his charisma and so that he can jog from one part of the house to another.

Matthew takes a break from playing chess to play tag with Brook. (Playing tag is limited to friends only, so it isn’t the friend-making opportunity of a normal game. Still, it’s one way of interacting with the no-longer controllable elder.)

Then, Matthew, who alternates time on the computer with Lucas, steps away to turn into a teen.

Leo has mastered painting, but has not mastered a portrait of Brook yet. (Though he had a brilliant one worth over 1,200 simoleons that looked awesome! Too bad we couldn’t keep it.)

There was an accident at work, so now Lawrence is forever singed.

Leo grows up.

At this point, Leo had finally completed a masterpiece of Brook, after first completing six brilliant ones and thus completing one of the painting challenges. So, he now had time to work out and talk on the phone with boss and co-workers on communications day. Lawrence too needed to insure he had a good relationship with his new boss, as the old one retired. Graduation day looms, and without a good relationship with the boss, a job could be lost!

And that is just incredibly long, so wait to find out what happens next.
