In our basement, we’ve added a nectar maker to give us something more to do with all the fruit we harvest.
While our kitchen is a nice sized one, it doesn’t have a canner or even a baker’s oven; so we are rather limited in our choices.
You’ve seen our front room a lot lately. It hasn’t changed much since our gift-giving party, but we are enjoying the added space.
The little bath downstairs finally had the ceiling tiles redone, and it’s looking quite homey.
Our bath upstairs is the perfect size for Royce and I. (I’m not sure what’s happening with that extra texture in the bath. I think it’s just something wonky with the extended view of a little room.)

The boys’ bath is a celebration of color with all their favorite colors reflected in the accessories.
Douglas favorite color is green. Think Douglas fir!
Daniel’s favorite is a lavender. (Purple makes me think of Angels and how they must have surrounded Daniel in the lions’ den.)

Dorian too likes purple, but not such a subtle shade. He’s a bit more vibrant.
With my favorite color as blue and Royce’s favorite white, we probably have the mellowest bedroom.
You have to pass through the activity room to get to our bedroom. I guess we could have just opened up that room to the hallway, but it’s a nice cozy space.
I think this is the way the boys will always remember their home as they come home for the holidays with their families.

It’s been a good home, and some day it will probably be Dorian’s as he’s the only one that really takes to gardening, and maybe someday, nectar making.
Aww that was lovely, and you really made it into a cozy home.
