Bittersweet this moment is. I finally have my inheritance, but it took every cent we had to fight my brother for it and pay the law fees. Now I look at how much there is to do and I am overwhelmed.

While there is plenty of room and it’s a gardener’s paradise, or it could be, will be, one day, …

Most of the rooms are barely furnished, if at all, and the twins aren’t really ready for big beds yet, are they?

The worst part of all this is the distance that’s grown between my family myself. I’ve spent so much time locked away in law offices and court rooms.

It’s been the same for my brother too, I’m sure. His wife Crystal has practically raised Claudia and Bernard all by herself, and I know she isn’t happy with Dorian right now for all the money he exhausted on lawyers as well.

At least they still have a fine home on the edge of town. Of course, I don’t know his real financial situation. For all I know, he could be mortgaged to the hilt; but at least, from my perspective, it seems that his situation is much better than mine.

I have a garden that is crying out for immediate attention. I have two toddlers that need both of their parents constantly. And, I have a husband who isn’t very happy with the way things are right now. I’m sure we’ll get things all worked out in time, but for now… Just breathe! One thing at a time. Where do I start?
