A2ace

The apocalypse is ongoing.

Grandpa Lawrence had a difficult time. He would be dead tired and NOT go to bed. He was also abducted by aliens! So, even though Sims aren’t allowed to sleep on the ground, he did pass out there, off-lot because there wasn’t enough room to pass out on the lot!

Toddler Marcus was taught his toddler skills while the family worked on their skills and chatted with bosses and co-workers, when allowed.

Baby Lance grew into a toddler.

And toddler Marcus grew into a green-eyed boy.

It was good to see the boys interact together.

Lance learned all his skills and eventually grew into a child.

With another sim needing a bed, grandpa got a sleeping bag; but he still would get over-tired and not sleep. (Now I see what happens at university to all those dorm mates.)

The boys sometimes got to go to school, but much preferred the snow days when they could be home.

Uncle Leo’s painting talents were called upon once again to make a masterpiece of Matthew. Yay! Since he’d already maxed painting and had several brilliant paintings and a masterpiece of his mom, this proved successful sooner, rather than later.

I might not have mentioned before that Matthew found a job in military. YAY! So, he needs handiness as well as athletics. He spends a lot of time swapping the sink and toilet from self-cleaning to unbreakable and back again, often breaking the plumbing in the process. AND, while an elder, Grandpa Lawrence has maxed logic (from all the ask to join interactions of the family in an effort to keep him from interrupting them, wanting to take pictures that, besides being very annoying, is also not allowed yet).

For those curious, this is the layout and use of the cramped 8×8. Two perfect produce of each type is kept on the balcony. (Grandpa once got ahold of some produce, and though not allowed, ate it. So, it’s good to always have a spare.) The cut-away pic of the main floor shows that I keep the counter with food on it in the pantry so that the spoiled food doesn’t disgust the sims, and the required laundry hamper is hidden from sight behind the wall that keeps sims from the fridge. When I built my original foundation, I purposely made it ladder depth, for later; and it’s only around the outer edge, thus creating a basement area for later. Now, it’s where the old food is kept as well as all the non-skill books. (It keeps the sims from randomly grabbing a book to read, which they aren’t allowed to do yet.) Clearing naturalist first really came in handy, as sims can place items on the ground now.

Leo was unfortunate enough to see his boss pass away as he left work one day. He was still feeling the passing of his boss as he aged to full adult.

On a brighter note, Lucas saw this pretty lady, who was obviously in the music profession, passing by the house. He ran out and got to know a co-worker. Lucky him! They apparently hit it off well.

There are no extra beds! Until next time
