Sometimes, being a hopeless romantic leads one to see the positive side of things and not notice so much, or at least not dwell on, potential problems.

Just look at this gorgeous old home! What a large plot of land! It has its own pond and a barn. Yes, it has some junk piles; but those can be cleared, or at least moved. And it has some old crates, but those will make great fire wood or furniture. Yes, there are some brambles; but again… firewood! Really, this home was worth every Simolean, and it literally took EVERY simolean they had!
Yes, there ARE some ceiling and floor tiles and even walls missing; BUT, the roof is intact and all the outer walls are in place! Don’t be picky!

The toddlers’ grandparents insisted on moving the bed and all the cribs downstairs until such time as the floors and ceilings could be fixed.
The bathroom wall? Low on priorities really. Who cares? The kids are just toddlers! Things growing up the walls are kind of free plants, right? But, yeah, maybe the brambles coming up through the floors aren’t so good for the floors or toes.

Still, it’s a large enough place for their large family.
Thank you AlphaFen. This is going to be frustrating, challenging and, hopefully, fun (for someone!)

Looking forward to seeing how this goes. The lot is so pretty it’s not hard to see how nice it will look in the end. I will be taking notes on how to handle the toddlers.
