A simmer was looking for tutorials on how to build a split foyer home with walkout basement.

So, you see the lower level isn’t completely in the basement. The foundation goes from flat ground to only four stairs down, but then there are the four stairs up to the top of the foundation as well in front.

Upstairs is eight steps up. It has two bedrooms, a bath, and open plan living.

Downstairs is currently two large rooms and a smaller one. You see the slanting foundation around the doors.

I colored the foundation to mimic the darker green of the hedges, though I didn’t do a great job at it.

If this will help the simmer, I’ll make a tutorial for how to do it with lots of pictures.
